You got the rhythm, I got the rhythm...

Who's that playing right now?

A short "Who's who" to the artists playing at the FM4 Unlimited Party on Friday 30th October.

There's going to be quite a few people playing at this party at the Rathaus on Friday. Perhaps you've heard of some of them, perhaps you haven't. The good man Arthur Einoeder has given you a brief introduction to the Fagget Fairys, the Round Table Knights and Alien Entertainment, so I guess I will do carry on where he left off.

Riva Starr

rivastarr.com

Riva Starr is one of the few aliases of Stefano Miele, a London based Italian producer and dj. The first record that I got from Riva Starr was from about a year ago -"La Conga" , a tune that I definitely played to death. After that, I just started checking out more of Riva's music (trust me, there is a lot of it! The guys is a production BEAST!!!). No, I think every set I play has at least one track from Riva, because the man just knows how to make a tune that makes you dance .

Check out Riva Starr's new blog to get all the latest info and goodies. Also enjoy the video to his new tune "I was drunk ft. Noze".

Greenmoney

Greenmoney

Greenmoney are a UK funky dj and producer duo from London, UK. I remember it was around the end of last year that I had just discovered UK funky. I was (and still am) loving this sound which is a hybrid of broken beat, UK Garage and afro house and really itching to play it on the radio; but it was a bit difficult to really bring it because a lot of it was quite obscure and very "UK" sounding which made it a bit difficult for listeners over here to relate.

A couple of months later, came this mail from "Greenmoney Productions" in the myspace inbox with a link to four remixes and a dj mix. The mix was so good and the remixes so tight that I think I played the tunes and the mix on the show the next day. It was exactly what I needed; UK funky that crosses over to the non UK residents. So that's who Greenmoney are to me, ambassadors of the UK funky sound.

Kristian Davidek

Radio FM4

Kristian is the host of that fine weekly Saturday afternoon mix show called "DaviDecks". As a club dj, Kristian is definitely an entertainer; not just from his technical ability and selection, but also from the way he ineracts with the crowd.

Dj Phekt

djphekt.com

Dj Phekt represents Austrian hip hop to the fullest. A graf writer, dj and sneaker collector, Phekt spends his time between djing on FM4 "Tribe Vibes", rocking clubs and as the live dj for MC Fiva. Phekt is one of the smoothest djs are I know in the mix.

Motorpitch

motorpitch

Motorpitch is a newcomer/veteran in the music thing. He's veteran in the sense that he's been in the music business for a while, lending his music engineering skills to quite a few hit records from Austria and from abroad. This year, Motorpitch has stepped out from behind the boards and is making his mark as a dj and producer, entertaining crowds over Europe with his mix of tropical club music.
