Film: Interview mit Jude Law
Italian filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino has succeeded working more and more with the crème de la crème of Hollywood. After having directed Michael Caine and Harvey Keitel in his last feature drama "Youth", he could get Jude Law for his first international TV-Drama "The Young Pope". There he embodies a politically manipulative, conservative American pope who is up for authoritarian nasty humiliations in the Vatican. In about two weeks, on 21st October you can watch all 10 episodes on SKY. The two first episodes of the "The Young Pope" had their premiere at the Venice Filmfestival in the beginning of September where FM4´s Petra Erdmann was received in audience by Jude Law. Longevity, living to 100 and beyond
Mr Spock’s Vulcan wish for friends and acquaintances "live long and prosper" is starting to come true for many of us, as society is allowing us to live to a ripe old age. There is also a theory that suggests that almost half of babies born today in the western world will see their 100th birthday. But how do you live well until the age of 100? What challenges lie ahead for future centenaries and what research is being done about keeping us going for longer? Reality Check meets athlete, oarsman and bodybuilder, Charles Eugster. At 97 years of age, Dr Eugster, is a world-renowned expert in successful ageing. What can he share with us about living long and prospering? We also hear from futurologist Ian Pearson who tells us how those born today can expect to live their lives in the year 2116.

Nachdem das US-amerikanische Magazin Billboard sich schon um die Premiere der ersten Single "Free Animal" gerissen hat, waren die Erwartungen an die Debüt-EP des Elektropop-Duos Foreign Air aus North Carolina groß. Vier Stücke umfasst sie, drei im bissig-süßen Upbeattempo, eine introvertiert, ruhig, "stripped down". Die Vergleiche mit alt-J und Glass Animals kommen nicht von irgendwoher (Lisa Schneider).

Game: "Severed"
Die mutige Kämpferin Sasha kämpft sich mit ihrem lebendigen Schwert durch eine visuell unkonventionell gestaltete, sehr farbenfrohe Welt voller bizarrer Monster. Weil "Severed" vor allem auf mobilen Touch-Displays zu Hause ist, bekämpfen wir diese Monster mit beherztem Wischen über den Bildschirm - ganz im Stil von Mobile-Games-Klassikern wie "Fruit Ninja" und Co. Wie sehr sich das von der kanadischen Indie-Firma Drinkbox Studios entwickelte "Severed" vom Games-Mainstream abhebt, berichtet Robert Glashüttner in der Rezension für FM4.

Outta space
Vor 25 Jahren flog der erste und bisher einzige österreichische Astronaut a.k.a. "Austronaut" Franz Viehböck in den Weltraum. Zum Jubliäum fand diese Woche der internationale "Planetary Congress" der "Association of Space Explorers" in Österreich statt. Über 100 Astronaut*innen reisten quer durchs Land und berichteten von ihren Erlebnissen im All, um uns für die Raumfahrt zu begeistern. Bei ihrem Stop in Linz hat Lina Simon die ehemalige kanadische Astronautin Julie Payette und den amerikanischen Astronauten, Star-Trek-Darsteller (Enterprise) und Talking-Heads-Fan Michael "Spanky" Fincke getroffen.

Einst "nur" die kleine Schwester des Pop Megastars Beyoncé, hat es Solange mit ihrem neuen Album "A Seat at the Table" tatsächlich vom Kindertisch weggeschafft und ein R&B, Neo Soul Opus kreiert, das vorm Hintergrund der "Black Lives Matter"-Bewegung genau zur rechten Zeit kommt (Dalia Ahmed).
