Morning Show (06-10)
with Dave Dempsey and Alex Wagner
Und was passiert eigentlich beim "Hausbesuch Europa"?
Update (10-12)
with Julie McCarthy
Termine | Webtip | FM4 Artist Of The Week: Vodoo Jürgens (Daniela Derntl) | Film: Mahana - Eine Maori-Saga
Reality Check (12-14)
with Steve Crilley
- US Congress and sovereign immunity
The United States Congress has overturned a presidential veto and voted in favour of allowing families of the victims of the 9/11 attacks to sue Saudi Arabia – the country from which most of the hijackers came. This is the first time Obama has had a veto overturned. International security analyst, Shashank Joshi gives us his view on what the Congress vote means for the US in particular and the principle of sovereign immunity in general.
- OPEC
Equity markets have climbed higher and oil prices surged overnight as OPEC ministers meeting in Algeria agreed to limit oil production. Naeem Sadiq is an investment banker at Redmayne Bentley and he points out that the agreement will not reduce oil production but will more or less freeze it at its current record level.
- Chemical weapons in Sudan
Amnesty International has accused the Sudanese military of using chemical weapons against civilian targets in remote regions of Darfur Province in recent months. As Riem Higazi reports, the use of these weapons has been going on for months and has caused horrific injuries to the civilian population - particularly children.
- The microbes in us
Microbes, bacteria; they are everywhere and, while we spend a lot of time trying to get rid of them, they are in fact vital to a healthy life. Scientists are just beginning to understand the importance of what’s called the human microbiome and there are indications it could be an important tool in fighting obesity. Reality Check speaks to David Berry, associate professor at the University of Vienna in the Division of Microbial Ecology.

Projekt X (00-01)
