with John Megill and Nina Hochrainer
We are Scientists and Ash are BBFFs – best band friends forever – and that’s why they will be performing together at the Flex in Vienna this weekend – and we are giving away tickets. Also, we are celebrating Bruce Lee who would turn 75 today by asking you to respectfully and masterfully reenact some of his unique fighting noises. And we’ll find out what’s behind Olafur Eliasson’s project to bring ice blocks from Greenland all the way to the UN Climate Conference in Paris.

France/Russia
In a bid to put some serious pressure on ISIS, the presidents of Russia and France have gotten together for some clear-speak: a united effort to counter terrorism and an agreement to increase the exchange of information and intelligence. Paris-based correspondent Hugh Schofield gives us the details…
Germany Raids
After tip-offs to the police, 2 arrests were made after terror raids in Berlin yesterday afternoon. The two men arrested were in Britz –the southern district of the city. Confirmation of the arrests came via the Berlin police’s Twitter feed. These arrests certainly provoke many questions and security analyst Yan St. Pierre is on hand for the answers.
Approved Asylum in Austria
So much media focus has been on the often deadly journey refugees make to be able to seek asylum in Europe and so much media focus has been on the debate over fences and processing centers and quotas etc…what has been woefully missing in the stories surrounding refugees is the fact that their journeys are not over once their asylum requests are approved. Our ORF colleague Simon Hadler has been reporting extensively on the refugee crisis in Austria and today he addresses what happens once asylum is approved here.
Police Harassment of Refugees in Serbia/Montenegro
The title sums it up really. Emina Cerimovic of Human Rights Watch has been documenting police misconduct/brutality in Serbia/Montenegro and she came into the FM4 studios to share her observations.
Care Package turns 70
Atlanta's international humanitarian organization, CARE, started in 1945 with the mandate to create and ship care packages made of surplus U.S. Army food to Europeans after the end of World War II. The so-called CARE package has taken on many forms since then and has had many different donors and recipients. Reality Check takes a look at the evolution of proof that human kindness and a willingness to not ignore others in need continues to exist.

Games: The Rise of the Tomb Raider
„Homebase Wien“

Film: The F Word

Already featured on the show a couple of months ago with a more upfront mix. This time around he goes all chilly and wierd on us and trips out and on into bed. Definately a mix for the Early Bird.
