This week’s Reality Check Special goes on an aquatic audio adventure to Greece. Joanna Bostock joins the Ionian Dolphin Project in the Gulf of Amvrakikos, as a volunteer “citizen scientist” and helps the research team spot and observe bottlenose dolphins. It’s one of a number of projects in the Mediterranean which rely on volunteers, and offer an amazing chance to experience dolphins and whales in the wild and contribute to marine conservation.

Rund 90 Prozent aller Blütenpflanzen werden von Insekten und Tieren bestäubt. Rund 1/3 aller Lebensmittel, also Gemüse, Früchte, Nüsse und Gewürze, sind auf Bestäubungsinsekten angewiesen. Doch der Honigbiene und ihren Freunden geht es nicht so gut, seit Jahrzehnten ist vom Bienensterben die Rede. Alex Wagner hat Huem Otero von Greenpeace Österreich gefragt, was denn die Hauptgründe für das Bienensterben sind.
