Game: “Hyrule Warriors”
Ein Schnetzelspiel im "Zelda"-Universum? Klar, Link ist ein tapferer Kämpfer, der Grasbüschel köpft um darunter Münzen zu finden und in den vielen Verliesen von Hyrule sich auch fiesen Monstern stellt. Doch "Hyrule Warriors" hat mit den bekannten "Zelda"-Rollenspielen wenig zu tun. Es ist ein schnelles Kampfspiel, eine Zusammenarbeit der vor allen in Japan beliebten "Dynasty Warriors"-Serie und eben "The Legend of Zelda". Markus Keuschnigg ist für FM4 in das ungewöhnliche Hybridspiel eingetaucht.
Viennale 14: Manische Musiker: Frank + Wiplash
Musikfilme bilden fast einen heimlichen Schwerpunkt bei der heurigen Viennale. Neben Konzertstreifen und Musikerportraits sind aber auch Spielfilme im Programm, die um die Freuden und vor allem auch Qualen des Komponierens kreisen. Der gefeierte britische Popfilm „Frank“ folgt einer erfolglosen experimentellen Indieband und deren skurrilen Sänger, der ständig einen Papierkopf trägt. Und mit dem US-Indiestreifen „Wiplash“ ist auch ein Hit des Sundance Festivals zu sehen, der mitreißend vom unerbittlichen Alltag eines überambitionierten Drummers erzählt. Christian Fuchs erzählt über die beiden Filme und den Musiker-Lifestyle dahinter.
