Boko Haram has released a video supposedly showing some of the kidnapped girls. The kidnappers say the girls have all converted to Islam and will only be released in exchange for Boko Haram members held in jail. Meanwhile the US, Britain and France are helping in the search and one leading Republican law-maker in the US says he would support President Obama if he chose to send in troops

The next round of talks on reaching a final comprehensive agreement on Iran’s nuclear programme begins in Vienna. This time around the various parties will be trying to agree on the actually wording for a final agreement and actually start putting things in writing. This phase of the negotiations could be the most difficult yet so what’s at stake and how optimistic - or not - should we be?

Amnesty International: Torture

Nearly half of people around the world fear becoming a victim of torture if taken into custody, so says an Amnesty International survey released today and heralding the start of a new worldwide AI campaign against torture. Concern about torture is highest in Brazil, where 80 percent people said they would not feel safe from torture if arrested, and lowest in Britain at 15 percent. Torture a story of man’s inhumanity to man.

Neben seinem Status als Serienstar brillierte Cranston aber auch in diversen Nebenrollen im Kino, wie jetzt in der Monsterneuverfilmung "Godzilla". Christian Fuchs hat die Pressekonferenz zu dem Zerstörungsspektakel in London besucht und portraitiert das Multitalent Bryan Cranston.

Nicht nur an den Außengrenzen der EU ("Festung Europa") auch innerhalb des Staatengefüges wird Migration sehr unterschiedlich bewertet. Alex Wagner hat sich mit jungen Menschen im jüngsten EU-Staat Kroatien unterhalten. Die gut Ausgebildeten wollen weg, dürfen aber noch nicht. Außerdem sprechen wir mit spanischen Einwanderern in Österreich. Die horrende Jugendarbeitslosigkeit im Süden Europas führt dort zu einem weiteren brain drain. Ganz anders bewegen sich Roma und Sinti durch Europa. Wir fragen nach, wie sich die Situation von Roma und Sinti in der EU in den letzten Jahren entwickelt hat und was von der EU-Wahl zu erwarten ist.

Film: Godzilla
1954 kreierte der japanische Regisseur Ishiro Honda eine Antwort auf amerikanische Monster-Kassenknüller. "Gojira" (zu deutsch: Gorillawal) traf einen kollektiven Nerv Nippons: Eine radioaktiv verseuchte Sauriermutation wurde zum Ausdruck des nationalen Atombombentraumas. Der Riesenerfolg des Films produzierte eine Welle von Godzilla-Filmen, die in die ganze Welt exportiert wurden. 60 Jahre und 30 Filme später kommt ein neuer Blockbuster rund um den König der Monster. "Godzilla" wurde vom britischen Regisseur Gareth Edwards als Hollywood-Reboot inszeniert und verspricht eine ernsthafte Rückkehr zu den Wurzeln des monströsen Titelhelden. Mit Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bryan Cranston und Elizabeth Olsen sind auch prominente Menschen bei diesem Spezial-Effekts-Overkill dabei. Hardcore-Godzilla-Fan Christian Fuchs erzählt über den neuen Film und hat in London auch mit Gareth Edwards gesprochen.
