We present the results of the ÖH-Wahl including a review from the election campaign headquarters. And it is also the release day of our FM4 Sound Selection 24 which is why we are going to have one of the bands on the double album visit us in the Morning Show studio: The Helmut Bergers.
The FM4 Ombudsmann is getting all excited because of the Champions League Finals while Judith and John are looking forward to the Seewiesenfest and the Patti Smith concert at the Burgtheater in Vienna.

Live aus Sarajevo - 20 Jahre nach Beginn der Jugoslawienkriege

Das FM4 Jugendzimmer begibt sich in einer dreiteiligen Serie auf die Reise durch Ex- Jugoslawien. 1991 wurden mit dem Beginn der Jugoslawienkriege ökonomische, politische, kulturelle und soziale Verbindungen zwischen den einstigen Teilrepubliken weitgehend gekappt. Gibt es nun, 20 Jahre danach, eine neue „Jugosphäre“, also eine neue Zusammenarbeit am Westbalkan? Wie sehr stehen dieser Entwicklung Nationalismen entgegen? Wie weit ist es mit der Europaorientierung gediehen? Welchen Einfluss üben die Jugoslawienkriege vom Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts auf den Alltag der Menschen heute aus? Claus Pirschner sammelt Stimmungen und Eindrücke in Zagreb, Sarajevo, Mostar, Beograd und Pristina.

Der erste Teil der Jugendzimmer Spezial Serie über Ex-Jugoslawien ist eine Live-Diskussion aus Sarajevo:

"Bücher aus meinem Schulranzen haben wenige Klamotten ersetzt... zuerst ein Wochenende am Land bei Verwandten, das war der hoffnungsvolle Plan... höchstens eine Woche, dann legt sich wieder alles. Es war aber keine günstige Zeit zum Planen. Über Zagreb und Kroatien bin ich mit meinen Eltern nach Deutschland gekommen." So beschreibt Ana Raos die Flucht mit ihrer Familie aus ihrer Heimatstadt Sarajevo zu Beginn des Bosnienkrieges. Auch Hana Stojic ist damals als Kind aus Sarajevo nach Wien geflüchtet. Heute leben beide junge Frauen wieder in Sarajevo. Wie haben sie nach dem Krieg beim Wiederaufbau geholfen? Wo stehen ihre Stadt und ihr Land gesellschaftlich, politisch und ökonomisch heute? Claus Pirschner spricht darüber mit Hana und Ana live in Sarajevo im Jugendzimmer Spezial.

His last mix on the show was last month and normally we like to leave a little time between sets on the show but this mix just blew us away so here you go ladies and gents Mr Osa Mayor (Vienna,Austria) DJ aus Wien, mit Wurzeln im Waldviertel, NÖ.

Seine ersten Gehversuche in Sachen Djing begannen 2003 (damals noch unter dem Namen "FastForward"). Infolge des Fehlens jeglicher Clubkultur im Waldviertel schloss er sich 2005 mit ein paar Freunden zusammen, um das DJ Kollektiv "Jiggysquad" zu gründen.

Bald darauf wurden die ersten kleinen Partys in Zwettl (Drum & Bass, Goa ) veranstaltet. Ende 2005 wurde auch ein monatlicher Drum&Bass Club namens "TWIZTED" im Kremser Club "Avalon Exil" (später TUBE) gestartet.
Osa gewann 2006 den Vienna Drum&Bass DJ Contest im Flex, danach folgten Bookings im Flex (Beat It), WUK, Arena, Couchuc.

Die große Stiländerung kam 2009 aufgrund der Umstellung von Vinyl auf das digitale Djing. Die "strictly d&b"-Zeiten waren endgültig vorbei, ab jetzt gab’s musikalisch keine Grenzen mehr. Egal ob House, Techno, Dubstep, Reggae, UKFunk, Broken Beats, HipHop, usw... - alles wird aufgelegt. Solange die Qualität passt!

DJ Dub Agenda: dub agenda is the project of Georg Nadler, a young producer and DJ from Vienna. He's in love with weird beats, deep chords and all kinds of dubby elements. His influences come from artists like martyn, scuba, shakleton, peverelist, appleblim, joy orbison, pearson sound, kontext, sigha, xi or alltime favourite brendon moeller just to mention a few, but also from friends and family, from everyday people, from driving with the underground railroad, going out in clubs, simply from life itself!
