We are celebrating the International Record Store Day and want to know about the first time you heard Belle and Sebastian. John is fixing our - a little out-of-use - penalty box and Nina is recovering the reason why the Easter rabbit is connected with Jesus and discovering her handcraft skills by folding a bunny out of a table napkin. Johnny Bliss is still out there travelling the world for us. This time he is talking to a Tasmanian aboriginal about a bridge that the government is planning to build over native heritage lands in Tasmania, at a spot where recently 40,000 year old artifacts have been found. And we are following Kenya Robinson the sleepover artist from New York City. Besides all that Rainer is welcoming spring and we are listening to some ancient knowledge: Bauernregeln.

The printed page in the digital age
What does the digital age mean for the printed page? Amazon says it now sells more copies of its Kindle ebooks than traditional paperbacks, yet there are still pockets of resistance from dedicated paper-lovers who refuse to be convinced. Historical volumes cannot be replaced but digital technology can make the content accessible to millions of people. And for budding authors, self-publishing on ebooks provides an alternative route to bestseller-dom, cutting out the costly middle men.

Hamburg, Silvester, Rock'n'Roll, zuviel Alkohol, Techno und die letzte Nacht eines legendären Clubs: Braucht die Welt noch einen Poproman von einem ehemaligen Popjournalisten? "So Was Von Da", das Debüt von Tino Hanekamp (u.a. Spex), sagt Ja! Philipp L'Heritier ebenfalls, und zwar "so was von Ja!" mit drei Rufzeichen.
Filmfestival: Crossing Europe
Das europäische Filmfestival in Linz zeigt noch bis Sonntag junges europäisches Autorenkino. Die Jury des diesjährigen Wettbewerbprogramms wird am Sonntag den besten Film auszeichnen. Petra Erdmann hat mit zwei erfahrenen Beobachtern des europäischen Kinos über deren Situation und Stand gesprochen: Birgit Köhler ist Ko-Direktorin des Arsenals, dem Institut für Film- und Videokunst in Berlin und in der Auswahlkommission der Sektion Forum der Berlinale. Der Paolo Bertolin ist Filmpublizist und Programm-Konsulent des renommierten A-Filmfestivals in Venedig.
Game: Homefront
Die Geschichte des First Person Shooter stammt von John Milius, Autor und Regisseur zahleicher Filme wie "Apocalypse Now" und "Red Dawn". Das Setting des Shooter mutet allerdings kurios an: Nordkorea hat die USA besetzt und in einen totalitären Staat verwandelt. Der Spieler schlüpft in die Rolle eines Widerstandskämpfers. (Conny Lee)

DaviDecks Musikerziehung wiederum widmet sich der aussterbenden Spezies des Plattenladens und nimmt die Schwellenangst, in so einem Geschäft einzukaufen, selbst wenn man mit einem Verkäufer vom Schlage eines High-Fidelity-esquen Jack Black konfrontiert ist.
