Diagonale 2011: Old School/New School - weibliches heimisches Filmschaffen von 1970 bis heute
Shooting Woman: Tribut an Elfie Mikesch und Linda Christanell
Ein umfangreiches weibliches Filmschaffen, das besonders ab den 1970er Jahren im österreichischen Avantgarde- und Autorenfilmkontext entstanden ist, wurde hierzulande noch nicht ausführlich kontextualisiert. Solch einen Versuch unternimmt nun jetzt die Diagonale in ihrer Programmierung. Sie widmet der österreichischen Kamerafrau, Autorin und Regisseurin Elfie Mikesch ein Tribut und präsentiert die Arbeiten von und ein Buch über die 1939 geborenen Avantgardefilmerin Linda Christanell. In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Österreichischen Filmarchiv stellt die Retrospektive "Shooting Women" über noch weitgehend unbekannte Werke von heimischen Regisseurinnen vor, wie u.a. Käthe Kratz, Angela Summereder, Susanne Zanke und Edith Hirsch. Erika Koriska auf den Spuren des wieder zu entdeckenden weiblichen Filmemachens zwischen 1970 bis in die frühen Neunziger Jahre.

Diagonle: Getting my Name up there, 18 Women
Die Videokünstlerin Katharina Cibulka hat in ihrem Film „Fireflies“ vor rund 10 Jahren Musikerinnen in New York und ihre Arbeitshaltungen und Hoffnungen porträtiert. Diese hat sie ein Jahrzehnt später wieder besucht. In ihrer Experimentaldoku „Getting my Name up there“ reflektiert sie nun die nicht eingelösten Träume und Vorstellungen der Protagonistinnen in ihrem aktuellen Alltag. Karin Fisslthaler, bekannt als Electronic-Musikerin Cherry Sunkist, macht nicht nur Musik sondern als Künstlerin auch Videoarbeiten. In „18 Women“ liefert sie 18 einminütige persönliche Frauenporträts, angefangen von ihrer Mutter, über Freundinnen, Künstlerinnen bis hin zu Filmstars (Erdmann)

FM4 Ehrenamtlich: Bewegungstherapie im Cafe Floritz
Das Cafe Floritz ist ein Projekt des SOS Kinderdorfs und Treffpunkt für Familien, in denen das Zusammenleben schonmal besser lief. Mit verschiedenen Angeboten wie Schauspieltraining oder Bastelworkshops werden die Kinder beschäftigt, während die Eltern bei Kaffee und Kuchen mal entspannen können und sich mit anderen Eltern austauschen können. Nicolette Schafflinger ist ehrenamtliche Bewegungstherapeutin im Cafe Floritz und sorgt für sportliche Betätigung bei 4 bis 6 Jährigen. Alex Wagner strampelt mit.
