Reality Check Spezial (12-13)
with Riem Higazi
This Saturday’s reality check is dedicated to Women, because this year marks the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day. The first IWD was observed on 18th March 1911 by over a million people in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland and on Saturday 19th March, a large women’s rights demonstration is to be staged in Vienna.
Reality Check will be talking to the eco-feminist and winner of the Alternative Nobel Prize, Dr Vandana Shiva; will be hearing why microcredit is often focused on women; and will be asking why, in wealthy countries, women are now more likely to be depressed than they were 50 years ago.

Proteste in Kroatien
