Elisabeth Scharang trifft auf den österreichischen Schriftsteller und Jugendpsychiater Paulus Hochgatterer. "Ich erlebe viel", so begründet Hochgatterer, warum er sich nicht nur in seiner Profession als Arzt mit der menschlichen Psyche auseinandersetzt, sondern sie auch in seinen Romanen zum Thema macht. Der sich selbst als "Realitätsausbeuter" bezeichnende Hochgatterer will weder als Psychiater noch als Autor vorgefertigte Lösungen anbieten. Er überrascht mit Aussagen wie der, dass österreichische Jugendliche seiner Meinung nach viel weniger Leseprobleme hätten, als gedacht, und vielmehr die Erwachsenwelt die Codes der Jüngeren nicht dechiffrieren könne. Weihnachtshorror-Filme: Rare Exports
Der finnische Jungregisseur Jalmari Helander hat in den vergangenen Jahren mit seinen YouTube-Filmen "Rare Exports" für Aufsehen gesorgt. Darin sind Männer auf der Jagd nach frei laufenden Weihnachtsmännern: einmal eingefangen, werden sie als rares Exportgut um die Welt geschickt. 2010 hat Helander den dazu passenden Kinofilm "Rare Exports. FM4 Acoustic Sessions 2010 (18-19)

2010 war für FM4 auch das Jahr der Kabelrolle und DI-Box: über 50 MusikerInnen haben sich heuer in einem der akustischen Studioräume im Wiener Funkhaus eingefunden, um vor ihrem regulären Wien-Konzert eine FM4 Akustiksession einzuspielen. Sehr oft mit dabei: die Gitarre, der Bass, eine Snaredrum. Neu mit dabei: die Autoharp, ein Hühnerschenkel, ein Bösendorfer Piano. Das Ergebnis: Reduzierter Audioglanz. In vier Folgen präsentiert Susi Ondrusova die besten Aufnahmen der FM4 Akustik Sessions 2010: unter anderem mit Jochen Distelmeyer, Dum Dum Girls, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Tiger Lillies, Garish, When Saints Go Machine, Elva Snow, Eagle Seagull, Frightened Rabbit und und und.
