Es geht bunt zu, denn wir gondeln heute zwischen der Ars Electronica in Linz, der Biennale in Venedig und Schweden hin und her, wo der Sommer besonders schön sein soll. Außerdem wollen die Russen ihr Budgetloch stopfen, indem sie dazu auffordern, mehr zu trinken und zu rauchen, um Steuern zu kassieren. Und wir haben was zu verlosen, wenn ihr wisst, wer unser Geburtstagskind des Tages ist!

Live aus Linz von der Ars Electronica 2010
Genauer: aus der ehemaligen Tabakfabrik, denn das Areal des Werksgeländes ist heuer der Festvalstandort für die "Ars Electronica". Das mobile FM4 Studio steht in der "Repair Lounge", und um das Festivalthema "Repair" geht's auch bei FM4 Connected. Der Gründer der Bewegung neue Arbeit, Frithjof Bergmann, erklärt im Interview, was an der Arbeitswelt, wie wir sie kennen, besser zu ändern, also zu reparieren ist. Mit dem Projekt "dispatchwork" von Jan Vormann werden bröckelnde Fassaden mit Legosteinen restauriert, geplant ist außerdem ein Ausflug in die Wohlfühlzone der Ars Electronica, dort heißt es "repair yourself". Und das FM4 Team vor Ort freut sich über Besuch in der Repair Lounge, zwischen Möbeln aus Pappe und biologischen Jausenprodukten. .

Freakwave in Bregenz gestern war der Hammer! Nicht vergessen: heute Rex The Dog, Monkeybreaks und Digitalism DJ Sets. Ein paar hundert Kilometer weiter östlich läuft ein Typ in einer Art Supermankostüm herum und "sammelt Lächeln". S. schreibt mir: "Er kämpft gegen den Wiener Grant. Bei der Aktion 10.000+1 Lächeln bittet er Leute auf der Straße, sich lächelnd mit ihm fotografieren zu lassen. Daraus macht er ein Fotoalbum für seinen Sohn Dwayn".
Lieb. Ich hoffe, dass es nicht als Marketinggag entpuppt, sondern ein Fall von Aufmerksamkeit 2.0 ist. Normal enden solche Informationen gemeinsam mit angeblich zur Schlachtung bereitstehenden Hundebabys bei mir und werden nicht weiterverbreitet. ABER DER TYP LÄUFT MIT EINEM SUPERMAN KOSTÜM DURCH WIEN. Sowas mag ich und es gibt Schlimmeres, als ein Lächeln zu schenken. Captain Ö. ist übrigens auch Beatboxer mit systemimmanenter Hip-Hop Affinität, siehe Video.
Apropos Hip-Hop: die Twenty Years Of Hip Hop Serie geht in die nächste Runde. DJ Buzz kommt zu mir ins Studio und bringt einen Massiven Ton mit.
