Joyce Muniz ist DJ, MC, Produzentin und Weltenbummlerin. Nach ihrer Zusammenarbeit mit Edu K oder Stereotyp auf Man Recordings und der unermüdlichen Fähigkeit sich weltweit zu vernetzen, steht dem nächsten Schritt ihrer Karriere eigentlich nichts mehr im Weg. Sie strebt nach weiteren Kollaborationen, eigenen releases und natürlich ist ein eigenes Album im Gespräch.
Mit einer britischen Bekanntschaft - gleichzeitig oftmaliger Gast unserer Sendung - bittet sie morgen in ihren Club ZONA zum Tanz: Rob B von den Stereo MCs im Salon Leopold. Beginn ist 23:00 Uhr.

Functionist über den heutigen Gast DJ Phekt:
Big Up! DJ Phekt bei Tageslicht im Radio und nicht wie sonst üblich abends in FM4 Tribe Vibes, wo er gemeinsam mit Trishes für die gute HipHop Mischung verantwortlich ist. Die Kombination aus klassischen Kopfnickersound und analogem Soul/Funk macht Phekt zum idealen Zusatz zum nachmittäglichen Kaffee und Kuchen. Coffee Breaks hat Phekt selber nicht zu viele in den letzten Monaten. Während seiner Arbeit beim Radio ist er als DJ unterwegs, vor allem aber hat er mit der einzigen ernstzunehmenden Rapperin im deutschsprachigen Raum zu tun.
Fiva / Nina Sonnenberg
Mit Fiva ist Phekt fast jedes Wochenende unterwegs um Rap Clubs und Festivals daran zu erinnern, worauf es bei HipHop Liveshows ankommt: Um Interaktion zwischen MC, DJ und dem Publikum! Sein Können am Plattenspieler lässt sich auch am aktuellen Album Rotwild von Fiva hören.

Hello! The Unlimited vs. Yum Yum party in Vienna was alot!!!! Thanks to Chrome, Kamikaze, Functionist and Motorpitch for their wicked sets, and thanks to Romy for baking the bday cake! And of course, thanks to all those who showed up, sorry we had to shut down so early!

Anyways, last week I had the pleasure to meet up with Tim Turbo in Munich. Nice dude with great taste in music and jackets. He’s going to be taking a day off his Tim Turbo Thursday to do a mix for us either at the end of this week or the beginning of the next one.
