Today's Webtip: Iggy Pop plays Bowie
Apparently there are still some people out there who enjoy combining information with music programming, and have realised that youth culture is a differentiation that has ceased to exist. And those people put together some pretty damn decent programming that can speak to the heart and heads of multiple generations.
One of those programs is on BBC 6, and it is hosted by none other than Iggy Pop. The current episode is available online right now (and for the next couple of weeks) and features two hours worth of music from David Bowie. Even better? It features tales told by Iggy about their times together.
For those of you not in the know, Bowie and Pop have a very long history of collaboration. And according to Mr. Pop, Bowie helped him develop artistically and musically. He also helped bring his music to a somewhat larger audience.
But why should I tell you this. Just listen to the show.
