Today's Webtip: GOT Fan Films

An Argentinian animator has requested the opening sequence using real world locations.

Winter might be here, but the next season of Game of Thrones won't be for another year or so. So, for those of you who are already up to date but still hungering for some images of fire and ice it might be time to consider some fan-made media.

I haven't really begun to explore the fan-fiction offering in the GOT universe, but I suspect the last season has provided some rather interesting new possibilities that amateur authors are anxiously examining.

But for those of you who don't feel like sifting through the 20 million some words already dedicated to that subject, or prefer not to have been tracked on the sites that provide them, there are some more generic options available.

Like the incredible works of Damian Bosio, an animator and fan who decided the opening sequence just needed to be recreated using some real-world landmarks. And not just a few. Damian has created sequences based on a few Argentinan cities, North America, South America, Western Europe and Eastern Europe.
