Today's Webtip: Ebru

Van Gogh's Starry night painted on water.

Ebru is a traditional Turkish painting technique that is a bit like silk painting. But instead of the result being a bunch of trippy silk scarves, it is a print on paper.

Grip Ay has mastered the technique and made a bit of a name for himself by posting videos of the process. One of his most recent ones is a master piece. Literally. He used dark water as the base for a recreation of Starry Night.
