Today's Webtip: Cycle Speedway
As a kid I was a big fan of roller derby. They used to show matches regularly on our local TV station, and it was pretty much the perfect sport for a 6 year old. Skates, speed, and pushing people around.
The sport eventually died out, and then came back with a bang around 10 years ago. A life cycle that it shares with the only other sport I know of involving speed circles and shoving people. Cycle Speedway.
I'm debating wether or not to read more about it and try to figure out the rules. But part of me really enjoys watching these clips and not knowing what is going on. Sometimes ignorance is bliss...
