Star Wars has been a pretty well documented film. Fans have been hungry for as much information about it as they could get their hands on, and Lucas has been drip-feeding it to them since the very beginning.
So it's a bit surprising to think that there are things that hardcore fans haven't seen yet. Documents that have avoided the gaze of historians are actually pretty rare. But even this many decades after the fact things are coming to light.
Kitbashed.com is a site dedicated to rooting out the story behind the story. Actually, according to their own description, it is an ebook in progress. And the most recent progress is an article about the Millennium Falcon.

An article made possible thanks to an auction in 2014. Colin Cantwell, one of the artists and model makers who worked on the film sold a collection of documents that had never been seen before. Now you can see some of them, and learn how they helped deciper the development of the idea that would become one of my favorite characters in the film.
