Today's Webtip: The Minimum Wage Trap

what life looks like when the companies don't want to foot the bill.

The Income gap has been an increasingly important part of political discourse across the planet the last couple of years. Most discussions of that gap are held between people of better incomes, even if they don't belong to the 1%. Something which can be infuriating to read, particularly if you have been earning at the bottom of societies barrel.

Peter Van Buren had some experience working the minimum wage racket after losing his job in his mid fifties. He eventually worked his way out of the system, but went back to it for a short time in order to share the experience with others.

Having read enough comments, and had enough discussions with people who believe it is everyones right to pay someone else a little as possible, I think it might be an interesting illustration to the debate that is currently taking place. If nothing else, it should give a little bit of color to the eventual U.S: presidential debates once the two parties decide who they are going to throw into the ring.
