Vulture has decided to do something big. They kicked it off with an article defining 100 jokes that have defined (U.S.) comedy history. A few of those hundred actually have had some international impact, though.

Like the classic from Airplane!

I haven't really been a fan of the parodies that followed this classic, but I frequently find myself falling back on that line. And Leslie Nelson´s deadpan delivery still gets me every single time.

Vulture got the trio who wrote and directed the film to talk about it. It's an interesting read.
