The rise & rise again of Alexis Tsipras
Despite facing a strong challenge from the conservative New Democracy party, Alexis Tsipras has come out on top again. He won yesterday's snap general election 7 months after he led his left wing Syriza party to its first victory. So how much of a stronger position is he in now to push through the austerity measures required for the bailouts?

He took on the lenders and effectively lost and then exercised a u-turn by putting into action the lender's bailout programme. So there has been a lot of reaction to the events of this weekend. We got some thoughts of people in Athens straight after the election.
