Egypt has introduced a series of severe new anti-terror laws, which some analysts say could be used by President Al-Sisi to silence opposition and muzzle the media.

The move follows a series of attacks on policemen, soldiers, politicans and civilians by the Islamic State affiliated group, Sinai Province.
