A Day of Deals?
In Brussels...
European Union leaders started their summit on Sunday afternoon, and didn’t finish until Monday morning, 17 hours later.

It’s believed to be the longest continuously sitting EU summit ever.
But when they did emerge, it was to announce a bailout deal for Greece which will keep the country in the Eurozone.

Talks on Iran’s controversial nuclear programme have been going on since 27th of June, pushing through more than one deadline.
Media reports on Monday described the talks as being “in the final stage” with talk of a deal “by midnight”, while also highlighting unresolved issues and the possibility of extending talks into Tuesday.
Professor Ali Ansari, founding director of the Institute for Iranian Studies at St. Andrews University told us why he thinks an announcement is imminent and what he’ll be looking out for:
