Today's Webtip: Minister no more

Yanis Varoufakis has found some fancy new duds.

Interesting times indeed. After managing to pull off a vote supporting the current governments negotiation strategy, which was a bit of a nail biter in and of itself, Yanis Varoufakis has decided to take himself out of the negotiations by resigning his ministerial role.

And he made a blog post about it.

This is a first on so many levels. Whether you agree with him and his position or not, I think it sets an interesting precedent. Especially when you think back on all of the politicians who might have had better reasons to resign but refused...
