Denmark result "a great boost for Cameron"

Reality Check: Danish elections, migration to Europe, Charleston shooting, Patriot park, Jewish communities in Europe

Denmark finds itself today facing a new government, and a new coalition between the second placed, right wing, People's party and third placed Liberal party. However, the government will be formed by the Liberal leader, Lars Lokke Rasmussen, who is seen as more politically acceptable than the anti-immigration, anti-EU, People's Party.

Danish People's Party leader, Kristian Thulesen Dahl, celebrates the result of yesterday's election, as he pledges support for the third placed Liberals.

The situation is in many ways reminiscent of the blue-black coalition in Austria in 2000.

Malcolm Brabant reports from Copenhagen on the results and what this new right wing coalition will mean for Denmark, Britain, the anti EU parties, and the EU.

Prayer vigils are being held on the streets of Charleston, S. Carolina

President Obama is calling for a re-think on gun control after the horrific mass shooting in a historic South Carolina church on Wednesday, in which 9 people died.

The only suspect is 21 year old Dylan Roof, who was arrested yesterday.
