Mashing up the past with the present.

Reimagining classic paintings isn't exactly new. There have been all sorts of digital manipulations, repainting and photography done throughout the years.

But the work of Alexey Kondakov might be some of the best I have ever seen.

Alexey takes the main figures from old paintings and imposes them on modern surroundings. the wrestles are pretty darn nifty.
