The many messages at Eurovision

Reality Check: Eurovision and politics, Egypt sexual assaults, Tunisia media, Afghan trial, OMV and Croatia

The Eurovision Song Contest gets underway this evening with the first semi-final. Some of the songs will be about love and relationships, some will be just a bit of fun, and some will be carrying substantial political weight.

Eurovision expert, DeanVuletic, looks at the messages, political and otherwise, that the songs carry, and why different countries have different agendas when it comes to the big contest.
