North Korea executions
Executions and purges are nothing new in North Korean politics but the latest news from the Hermit Kingdom is really raising eyebrows. South Korea is reporting that North Korean defence minister, Hyon Yong Chol was executed by anti-aircraft fire for not showing the country’s leader, Kim Jong Un enough respect. We get analysis from our South Korea correspondent, Steve Evans.

ÖVP
The ÖVP (the Austrian People’s Party) wants to give itself a facelift and become younger, more feminine and more modern. At a two day party conference that ends today, various proposals were put forward aimed at coming up with a party programme more in step with a changing world. EU migrant quotas
