New Nepal earthquake

Nepal has been hit by a second major earthquake, this time centred near Mount Everest. The quake caused panic in Kathmandu, and was felt as far away as Delhi and Dhaka.

Putin meets Kerry in Sochi

Russia's President, Vladimir Putin, is to meet US Secretary of State, John Kerry, in Sochi today, with Ukraine being the focus of the talks. Top Russian American journalist, Masha Gessen, gives her views on how the talks will go.

The plan is to scrap the Human Rights Act and replace it with a Bill of Rights, but human rights groups are saying this will weaken the principles.
