Today's Webtip: Remembering Lou Reed

Patti Smith hits all the feels as she inducts Lou Reed into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I'm not really sure what the purpose of things like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is supposed to be. But its yearly ceremony for new members manages to create memorable moments like Ringo Starr telling bus farters to own up, or everyone will blame everyone else.

And when Patti Smith shares her insights and emotions about Lou Reed, any other meaning becomes pretty much irrelevant. Her induction speech is one of those moments that leave me thankful that she was able to share it with us.
