The results from an experiment in universal basic income are in, and they are interesting.

In 2011, UNICEF and SEWA organized an experiment in providing a guaranteed basic income for a group of villages in India. Anyone who has been following the debates about this are more than likely aware that there are many theories about the effect it could have on people and the economy, but there have been very few hard facts to date.

Now there are a few. You can learn about them in a video that was produced for the project.
