Iran deal
A deal to limit Iran's nuclear capabilities is being hailed as a "historic understanding" by President Obama and a "win-win outcome" by Iranian foreign minister, Javid Zarif.
However, Israel and the American right wing hawks are expressing condemnation and dismay, saying the agreement will increase the threat to Israel and create further risks for the region.

Kenya University attack
Al Shabab militants have killed around 150 people in an attack on the Garissa University campus in north-east Kenya.
The Al Qaeda related group singled out Christians and shot them, in what was Kenya's deadliest ever terror attack.
