Today's Webtip: Key Thing
I have a key problem.
My keys had a habit of gouging holes in my pants pockets. This led to bits and bobs landing in my shoes or on the street.
I also have a gadget problem. I like them. Gadgety things just scratch some weird itch i have.

One gadget I have loved dearly for decades is the pocket-knife. Wether the old fashioned pen-knife, swiss army thing (they actually made one for computer tinkering) or bulky Leatherman, I seem to collect the damn things.
And it turns out that they make the perfect base for an even better keychain.
I ended up dismantling a bike-tool for mine. But I have found some guides that can help you make one from things you can find at your neighbourhood hardware store.
This black little thing to the right is a scratch build. You should be able to make it with little money and even less experience.

The Magnetized Pocket Folding Key Organizer is for those who like it a bit more complex. This home built key organiser has it all. Wood, metal and magnets. So you can stick it places I guess.
It's a bit more complex build, but you can probably make it less bulky and much better looking than some of the others.
And of course those magnets!
Probably not a good idea for those who want to add a USB stick.
And finally, the Bike Tool Keyset. This one can have it all. Allen wrenches up the wazoo, USB sticks, screwdrivers, and of course, lots and lots of keys. This one is perfect for those who have these types of things lying around, but if you know where to look they can still be pretty cheap. Much cheaper than the commercial key organisers that are out there.
