Today's Webtip: A Teen's Take on Social Media
I've been online for a very long time.
So long that it has really had a huge impact on how I visualize online space and interaction. So long that a lot of the people I started out goofing off with have become the architects of things that already come and gone through the hype-cycle. So long that I have a friends list comprised of people I have known and followed through multiple technologies, networks and communities.

One group that consists of people I met mostly through a FirstClass bulletin board at the beginning of the 90's, were trying to explain Instagram to someone who just didn't get it. In the flow of posts one person shared a link to an article that not only explains current teen usage of social media, but also provides one of the better overviews of the strengths and weaknesses of current offerings.
