Columbia: FARC
After decades of bitter fighting there are signs that FARC rebels and the government of Columbia are making real progress in their attempts to reach a permanent peace deal. Yesterday the government announced it would stop bombing raids against the rebels for at least one month. However, hurdles to peace still remain.
