Varoufakis should "talk less, and act more" according to Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras

Greece's finance minister, Yanis Varoufakis, says there could be a referendum if the Eurozone rejects his latest proposals.

Varoufakis is in Brussels today for a meeting with Eurozone Finance Ministers in an effort to convince them to accept Greece's plans for economic reforms. If he fails, plans are being dicussed for everything from a referendum to paying tourists to act as tax inspectors.

Elephants will be dropped from performances by 2018

Although wild animals are banned in circuses in Austria, there are still many countries in which they are still allowed.

Now, the two largest circuses in the USA say they will phase elephants out of their performances by 2018.

Fleur Dawes of Animal Defenders International welcomes the accouncement and says she hopes it will soon be extended in other countries and to other animals.

The first ever attempt to fly a solar powered plane around the world has been launched in Abu Dhabi.

The flight will take 5 months, and be split over 25 flying days, with 5 stops along the way.

The Swiss founders and pilots, Bertrand Piccard and Andre Borschberg, hope to show how pioneering spirit, innovation and clean technologies can change the world.
