Today's Webtip: Waters Narrates Plagues and Pleasures
"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade"
that's one of those bits of wisdom you can hear often in the U.S. It's also something I have seen a lot of people do. Sometimes it's lemons, sometimes it's flamingos, and sometimes it's a documentary.
That might sound a bit obscure, but if there is anyone who has mastered making the offbeat interesting, it's John Waters. I'm still amazed at the fact that his works made it as far into the American mainstream as they did.
And I love his voice. So when I heard about a documentary narrated by Mr. Waters, I had to click.
It's the story of a classic tale of western boom and bust. Plagues and Pleasures.
