'Jihadi John' named as Mohammed Emwazi.
The Masked Islamic State militant now named as Mohammed Emwazi appeared in numerous beheading videos put out by Islamic State.
'Jihadi John' was first seen in a video from last august when he killed the US journalist James Foley. Since then he has become notorious around the world, but until now, his identity was unknown.
Our London correspondent Olly Barratt reports on the information that has been revealed in the last days about the identity and background of the man who was already known to the security services, and who they had tried to recruit as a spy.
