Today's Webtip: TTIP and the Invenstorenschutz

BR takes a look at the potential consequences for art and culture.

I'm really not a fan of the TTIP. The whole "let's hold secret negotiations that only include a few of the groups affected" just rubs me wrong. Particularly when the treaties being used are then used as arguments to get legislation passed that had failed before.

But one of the bigger reasons I dislike what I see coming is the potential for Really Bad Things to happen to a few of the things I really like about Europe. One of the better explanations I have found so far comes from Bayerische Rundfunk. It's a short video that takes a look at one specific area that could be hit very hard by the TTIP.

Art and Culture.

To be more specific, it takes a look at what the Investorenschutz could mean for countries and creators in Europe.
