Killer Mike lays down some thoughts on Martin Luther King.

Yesterday was Martin Luther King day in the USA.

A day some people use to remember the civil rights struggle he helped to shape. A struggle that cost him and many other men and women their lives. A struggle that is still far from over.

Killer Mike, a rapper with a conscience who has been making these issues a part of his program took to the web yesterday to write down his thoughts on King's legacy and the work that still needs to be done.

Recent events in the States and across the word have shown that the struggle is far from over and the situation in Ferguson hit Mike hard.

That was from a show he played an hour and a half after the Ferguson Grand Jury decision.
