The Sony Hack has been making headlines recently for many reasons. Mostly juicy behind the scenes gossip and celebrity slagging.
But there have also been some more substantial revelations. Chief among them the information that the MPAA has apparently found a way to "lobby" U.S. Attorney generals. And that they really hate Goliath, erm, Google.
In other words, the MPAA were willing to throw boatloads of cash at solving the problem of piracy. Not just through the use of expensive lawyers, but also by supporting political campaigns. Campaigns of the people they really hoped would do their best to investigate Google.
