Today's Webtip: How to fly

Just throw yourself at the ground, and miss.

That's one of those ideas that has been lodged in my head ever since I first read the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy when I was twelve. of course, the Guide explains that the hard part is missing, and that helps if someone can distract you just before you should hit the ground so you are not thinking about gravity and the fact that not missing could be very painful.

It turns out that the Guide was wrong. A wingsuit can work just as well. This video is a perfect illustration of what it must be like to miss the ground.
