The Pentagon says it believes Iran has conducted air strikes against Islamic State militant targets in Iraq. But the US says that it is not working with Iran in the fight against Islamic State. US officials have said there were indications that Iran had carried out air raids using F-4 Phantoms in the last several days. Analysts have suggested that Iran is the only country in the region with these type of strike jets in their airforce.
Since the Islamic revolution in 1979, the US and Iran have had a somewhat difficult relationship. So if confirmed, is Iran’s involvement a game changer in the fight against ISIS and for international politics? We put that to defence analyst Paul Beaver who has been looking at video footage of the air strikes.

Bhopal disaster
India is marking the 30th anniversary of the Bhopal industrial disaster which killed thousands of people. A pesticide plant leaked about 40 tons of a deadly gas into the air killing about 4,000 people. The lingering effects of the poison raised the death toll to about 15,000 over the next few years. The anniversary has seen demonstrations calling for harsher punishments for those responsible and more compensation for the victims. We have a special report on the legacy of Bhopal.

Transparency International report
Transparency International issued its annual report measuring perceptions of corruption in 174 countries around the world. The top performer this year was again Denmark while Somalia finished in last place. Austria's ranking has moved up three spots to No. 23. It's the first time Austria hasn't fallen in the rankings since 2006. So does that tell us much about the talk of corruption close to home? We hear from lobbying study author Magdalena Reinberg-Leibel.
