Reality Check on how the cancellation of the South Stream Pipeline Project by Vladimir Putin will affect Austria.

South Stream

Russia's Gazprom has cancelled a project to construct the South Stream pipeline to supply gas to southern Europe. President Vladmir Putin blamed opposition from the European Union for the move. So how does this affect Austrian companies? South Stream pipeline was a plan to pump Russian gas across the Black Sea through Bulgaria, a route which would have by-passed Ukraine. The Austrian oil and gas concern OMV was involved in the project and earlier this year a deal was signed concerning the Austrian section of it. So what's being said in the Austria business sector today. We speak with Business Journalist Hans Weitmayer.
