The meeting of the major oil producers is taking place in Vienna. We have seen a massive slump in the oil price and what does this mean for places like Russia, Iran and for all of us. Decisions taken in Vienna today are important but why meetings like these are seen as mostly about exerting political power on the world stage. We spoke with security analyst, Paul Rogers on the geopolitics of oil.

Ukraine and the first session of the new parliament.
Ukraine's new parliament is meeting for the first time since last month's general election. A preliminary governing coalition was formed last week, uniting five parties intent on guiding Ukraine toward integration with Europe and possible eventual NATO membership. Jean-Claude Juncker vote
The European Parliament will vote on a no-confidence motion against the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker today. The motion was brought by a group of right-wing and euro-sceptic parties in response to revelations that large multi-national companies were provided a tax haven in Luxembourg during the 18 years Juncker served as prime minister. Our correspondent Chris Cummins is following developments in Strasbourg.

Calls on the European Commission to break up Google
The European Parliament is due to vote on a proposal to break Google's search business away from its other services. It is the latest twist in a four year antitrust investigation which has so far failed to reach a conclusion. The body has no power to break up Google so what is the point of the vote?
