Haiti – 5 years later
5 years ago, on January 12th 2010, a devastating earthquake struck the Caribbean island nation of Haiti killing hundreds of thousands of people and displacing nearly 1.5 million others. We return to Port-au-Prince to find out that while some things have improved, many scars still remain and political instability is an increasing problem.

US military twitter hack
Internet hackers claiming links to the jihadist group ISIS have targeted US Central Command and managed to take control of its Twitter and Youtube accounts. For a period of 30 minutes yesterday, Monday, the hackers posted threatening messages and the attack came just minutes after President Obama had given a speech on cyber security.

Vienna’s King Abdullah Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue has come in for a lot of criticism recently with some people questioning just how much dialogue it’s actually promoting. From the very start sceptics were describing the center as being nothing more than a piece of Saudi propaganda but now its very existence is being called into question.

Boston Marathon bombing Trial
The process of selecting a jury in the trial of the Boston bomber began last week. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is facing the death penalty for his part in the bombing of the Boston Marathon in 2013 which killed three people and injured over 260 others. His brother Tarmelan was killed in the ensuing manhunt.
