FM4 Gästezimmer: George Ezra

Der junge Senkrechtstarter aus England nimmt im FM4 Studio Platz und spielt uns seine Lieblingslieder vor.

Bei uns im Funkhaus hat sich George Ezra sichtlich wohl gefühlt. Er war zwar ein bisschen verschlafen, war aber dennoch zu Scherzen aufgelegt und hat sogar mit unserem Papp-Austrofred geposed. Ja, ganz freiwillig.

Auf Reisen

Der Musiker aus England ist erst 21 Jahre alt und tourt trotzdem schon fleißig mit seinem Debüt-Album "Wanted On Voyage" und zwei EPs im Gepäck. Sein Hit-Song "Budapest" wird mittlerweile Land auf Land ab von allen Sendern gespielt. Und das tatsächlich vollkommen zu Recht, wenn Ohrwurm-Qualität ein Kriterium ist. Dass er auch abseits seiner eigenen Musik einen guten Musikgeschmack hat, beweist er uns im FM4 Gästezimmer.

This guy, Damon Albarn, used to sing for a band called "Blur" and I was too young to kind of know what was going on then. In fact I was probably just born. But anyway he has released an album by himself and there's a song he called "Mr. Tembo" and it's lovely...

The Beatles - Paperback Writer

When I was growing up I got into Bob Dylan and my little brother got into the Beatles and we weren't alowed to like the other one. So I was not alowed to like the Beatles, and he was not alowed to like Bob Dylan. But recently I've got into the Beatles and the first song I remember hearing was "Paperback Writer".

Rae Morris - Do You Even Know

And now I'm gonna play a friend, and she was the first person to ever take me on tour with her. And yeah I'm going back on tour around England soon and now I invited her to come on tour with me. So that's lovely. Her name is Rae Morris. And this is a song she's released and it's called "Do You Even Know". And it's amazing, I hope you enjoy it.
