Today's Webtip: Short SciFi

It's amazing how much story can be communicated in six words.

How many words does it take to convey an idea? And how many to tell a story?

If you have ever felt constrained by the 140 character limits of SMS and twitter then you might find the idea of telling a story in six words to be appalling. But it can be done, as a post at iO9 proves.

They called out to their community to submit super short science fiction stories and the results are surprisingly good.

My favorite even takes place in Austria:
"Run, Maria!! The hills ARE alive!"
