Today's Webtip: Manyland

An 8-bit open-world block-builder. With guitars.

I love building games. And thanks to the success of Minecraft there have been quite a few to choose from.

One that I just discovered (but has been out for a while) is Manyland.

It's one of those games you can just jump into. That makes it easy to start, but figuring out what and how to do things is a bit more complex.

To be honest, I am still exploring and trying to figure things out. The basic idea is built around building blocks, but in this game you can make your own blocks. That means you can create your own graphics in game, but you can also give the blocks properties. And sounds.

And probably a whole lot more. Like I said, I'm still learning and exploring.

The best thing about it is that it is entirely browser based. You can also get apps for Android and iOS, but I haven´t tried them out yet.

But why read when you could be creating?
